The New Year began with the first outing for our latest Hand Brake Turn venture – a 1-week Taster course in automotive skills designed to give young people a relaxed and fun introduction to working with vehicles.

We were thrilled to welcome Stephanie Armstrong and Nathan Linton as new Board Members at our October AGM. They bring significant insight, experience and energy and they will contribute an invaluable younger voice to Concern Australia’s leadership team.

Paige has had a challenging life journey. She was born in prison, has spent most of her life in state care, and she has lived through abuse, disadvantage and substance use. But with the right support, this inspiring young woman is overcoming the hurdles life has presented her with.
