As we draw nearer to Christmas, on behalf of myself and all of my colleagues here at Concern Australia, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our cherished supporters and partners, for the support you have given us this year.
The Christmas story speaks to us of hope in the most challenging and unexpected of circumstances. With cost of living and housing pressures, this year has been a very difficult one for many of the young people we serve and their families. In the midst of this, your ongoing support has enabled us to continue to create tangible hope and positive trajectories in the lives of many young people. Your generosity has not only provided practical support but also demonstrates care and concern for these young people and their futures. Your belief in our mission is also a huge encouragement to all Concern Australia staff and volunteers who know they do this work with your support.
May this festive season bring you and your loved ones an abundance of joy and the fulfillment that comes from knowing you’ve made a positive impact in the world.
As we look ahead to 2024, I am filled with optimism and excitement for the possibilities that lie ahead. There are many hopeful signs about how we might increase our support to young people in the highest areas of need. Shoulder to shoulder with our loyal network of supporters, I am confident that we will continue to create meaningful change in the lives of young people.
