Video: Watch the video of Gabrielle Williams MP Local Member for Dandenong singing our praises in parliament
We were delighted to see that Gabrielle Williams MP, Local Member for Dandenong, sang the praises of our work at a recent sitting of the Victorian State Parliament. Gabrielle acknowledged the work of Concern Australia, in particular noting our Inside Out and Hand Brake Turn programs and how they are supporting young people at risk and most vulnerable with housing solutions and education pathways.
Gabrielle acknowledged our CEO, Michelle Crawford for bringing great leadership and energy to this role. Gabrielle also acknowledged Hayden, one of our Youth Workers, who designed the beautiful wall artwork for the recent opening of our South East Regional office in Dandenong, that Gabrielle launched. Gabrielle also said that she was impressed to hear from Phil, one of our Hand Brake Turn students, and how he spoke about going from stealing cars to caring for cars, and what a difference Hand Brake Turn has made for him.
